When our team set out to reimagine Coco’s Remember Me for Mary Kay Leadership in San Antonio, it was our Creative Director, Amanda Simpson, who brought her own Mexican heritage to the project and thoughtfully styled this number with authenticity and deep cultural appreciation. From concept to curtain call, every detail was meticulously crafted. Hand-crafted paper flowers bloomed across the stage, custom LED screens transported the audience to the streets of Mexico and twenty-foot tall Día de los Muertos-inspired puppets swayed in custom folklórica dress. The choreography—rooted in the elegance of Mexican folklórica yet infused with contemporary fluidity—transformed the stage into a living canvas of movement and emotion. And then, the voices. Monique Abbadie and Jose Figuero Jr. of The Voice delivered a stirring rendition of Remember Me, their harmonies soaring through the air like echoes of a timeless melody. This was no mere tribute—it was a fashion-forward, theatrical reawakening of heritage that celebrated the women who have dedicated their entire career to making a difference; a delicate balance of authenticity and nostalgic artistic reinvention created to celebrate the lasting impact our client has forged - a foundation of excellence and empowerment.
