?? First public art murals completed in Armadale ? ?? Spanning about 40 metres long and 8 metres high, these vibrant murals celebrate local flora, fauna and community’s rich history and culture. ?? Thanks to WA Artist George Domahidy, with help from the Armadale Senior High students’ creative contributions, the murals are a beautiful symbol of collaboration and mentorship. This collaboration also ensures that the community’s artistic vision will live on for years to come ???? Perth, are you ready to lift off?! ?? The Byford Rail Extension Project has constructed four platform buildings for the new Armadale Station off site??? ??? This modular construction method means better quality, faster delivery and a safer work environment. The first of four buildings, weighing 24.6 tonnes and measuring 14.5m long, 4m wide, and 4.5m high, was successfully installed this week. A custom designed lifting halo made it all possible, ensuring each building despite different weights and centres of gravity are safely lifted into place with precision.

We had an amazing time this week at the Acknowledge This! workshop. Rhys and Emma led an interactive and educational session, where we learned how to confidently deliver an authentic Acknowledgement of Country ?? They shared their personal stories and perspectives, offering valuable insights from both Aboriginal and non-Indigenous viewpoints. Through open conversation, collaboration, and a deeper understanding of how to honour both modern and traditional culture in Australia, we all left feeling empowered to deliver an Acknowledgement of Country that truly comes from the heart ?? A big thank you to Rhys and Emma for their wisdom and to Gather Foods for the delicious snacks! ????
