Going 160 mph or more in a car would scare the heck out of me. I can't even imagine what it would be like on a motorcycle! I bet this man has some amazing stories! #bravery #triumphmotorcycles

Featured speaker for our March 18 Motor Club (launched by Victor Hernandez) is local motorcycle entrepreneur Les Moscariello. Moscariello owns The Powersports Store dealership known for its exceptional service department and newly added line of Triumph Motorcycles. A Navy veteran and lifelong motorcycle enthusiast, Les opened The Powersports Store in 2017. Moscariello’s love for motorcycles started at an early age. Immediately after high school, he joined the Navy and bought a 1990 Yamaha FZR 600. A few weeks later, he rode his bike from southern Florida to his station in California. “Back then, there was no internet, no cell phones, none of that… No GPS, no credit card. Just maps and cash,” Les told Powersports Business magazine. He later worked with another Italian helmet importer, started an F&I company with a partner, then managed a parts departments for a dealer group in North Carolina. In 1992, he began road racing where he was stationed in Hawaii, and after serving in the Navy, he continued to focus on racing. In 1996, he worked for AGV America as a race supporter specialist and in product design and development. With the support of his wife, Olga, Les opened The Powersports Store as a preowned dealership. He wanted his business to be known for its good work in service and grow through this department. The dealership began to earn a good reputation and repeat customers. When Triumph became available in the Cincinnati area, Moscariello believed it was a perfect fit. We gather at 5:30 p.m. to take a look at some of Les' bikes, go to the club to enjoy catch-your-breath views of the river and beyond and a cocktail at 6 p.m. followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. (at your own expense, prices depend on entree selection) and Les Moscariello’s presentation. Extra, Extra! Read all about it! We’re excited to unveil our March 2025 edition, focusing on disability services. In this issue, we explore Robert Volker’s connection to the Cincinnati Association for the Blind & Visually Impaired and showcase tt stern-enzi's vision for LADD Inc.'s OTR Film Festival. This month's Notables feature dedicated individuals working at agencies that support those with disabilities. Our cover story highlights Rickell Howard Smith personal journey and how it shapes the impactful work she and her team are doing at YWCA Greater Cincinnati. As always, we’ve packed the issue with photos from some of Greater Cincinnati’s biggest events, a roundup of nonprofit and art-related news, and a comprehensive list of the region’s major events, fundraisers and performances. And, of course, we couldn’t wrap up without a Last Word from the incredible Polly Campbell. Interested in learning more? Check out the link to the digital edition in the comments. Physical copies will be available in the coming days. If you have thoughts or comments, feel free to share them below or reach out directly to Thom Mariner. Thanks for reading!
