The nuance of how these all work together is the real magic. It's taken years to get to this point. But I'm proud of where we are. ???? My guiding principle is this "Water takes the path of least resistance" and people are going to do the same. It's like a game, design the systems so that people follow the path that you want them to take. While increasing efficiency and never letting them feel like #software is getting in the way. Ask me anything, or tear me apart. I want your thoughts. ???? The only gap we have right now is #scheduling. That's a tough one Being that this is all home brewed it's lower-ish cost. But I'm not sure "low cost" is the winning recipe for the future. Through building this I have learned a ton about how and why larger software systems work the way they do. I think that will be very valuable to me in the future. An important note ??? these systems only work well when combined with the physical space and the things in the real world that trigger everything in the computer. #americanmanufacturing #jobshop #cncmachining

-If you reach out for an RFQ it will take 2.5 days for us to get a quote back to you. -If you order parts, we will deliver 1 day early. It's way deeper than that if you look at the breakdown of machining vs fabrication. I love seeing this improvement. It's not what I expected. I guess the only thing I remember is sending those embarrassing emails telling customers their parts will not be on time. We keep getting involved in projects that are more and more critical to our customers supply chains. Any delay on our end can cause them unimaginable pain, and I don't want that. I'm here for their success, not their detriment. I have to export a bunch of data to a CSV file and clean it up in Excel to get these numbers. My plan for the future it to make a dashboard that calculates these numbers continually and always having it displayed. #continualimprovement
