Today, members of the Metal Shark Training Team are wrapping up a five-day training event 500 miles off the coast of Ecuador as they put Galapagos National Park's newest 38 Defiant patrol boat into service. Park rangers depends on these rugged and reliable patrol boats to help preserve and protect the park’s unique natural resources, and they operate year-round in austere conditions across the park’s 3,000 mile range.
