"Second Cyber Policy Awards - February 6th 2025" Thank you to Louise Ireland Mauricio Benavides from Metabase Q for inviting me and few of my senior security leaders from the Washington DC area to witness the 2nd Annual Cyber Policy Awards hosted by Institute for Security and Technology (IST) at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. The event brought together 240 cybersecurity community leaders from various sectors Few mentions of senior thought leaders that resonated with me at the event were J. Michael Daniel from Cyber Threat Alliance for the Ecosystem Champion award, Leonard B. for the Lifetime Achievement award (his speech was inspirational and thought provoking) and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) for winning the award for research impact. A big thank you to Emma Hollingsworth, Vincent Voci, Steve Kelley for working relentlessly to make this event a success. Looking forward to collaborating more.
