? How can we make energy systems smarter, more interconnected, and truly interoperable? Today’s workshop, attended by?50 participants, explored the role of?#OpenEnergyServices?in META BUILD Horizon Europe Project, WeForming and EVELIXIA Project. ???? ?ngelo Casaleiro?kicked off the session "It’s not just about reducing emissions — it’s about?optimising energy use, ensuring that what we produce is?used efficiently and effectively." This means?better control, and interconnected solutions—which is exactly where #OpenEnergyServices come in. ??INTEROPERABILITY is not an option, it s a necessity - Konstantinos Kotsalos emphasised the concept of Smart Energy Operations within WeForming while David Pera?and Gregory N. Baltas, PhD??showcased the tools that ensure?systems can communicate effectively. ?? DATA SHARING enables scalability - While WeForming ensures that?energy systems speak the same language,?META BUILD is developing the digital backbone?to make this possible. Alexios Lekidis and Symeon Chorozoglou META BUILD’s?digitalisation platform. ?Grid-level services MATTER ! As demonstrated by?EVELIXIA, smart buildings must be?fully integrated into the wider energy grid?for maximum impact.?Stavros Koltios?presented?EVELIXIA’s services framework, focusing on?how to connect buildings with energy markets and system operators.
