Team members who support our customer service and healthcare food service needs interface with members of the Messiah Lifeways community on a regular basis. Whether it's serving residents a warm meal with a smile, helping a visiting family member navigate easily across campus, or all of the little moments that may go unacknowledged, their efforts to go above and beyond to make others feel welcomed are a true and valuable living out of our mission. Please join us in congratulating Messiah Lifeways' newest Spiritual Caregivers: residents Judy Keefer, Eleanor Poe, Bonnie Seely, Mim Stern, and community member Joy Derck! ?????? Spiritual Caregivers are volunteers who assist the Pastoral Ministries team in providing spiritual and emotional support to residents, family members, and team members in Village Center. The monthly sessions the Spiritual Caregivers participated in included discussions about spirituality and religion; cultural humility; recognizing spiritual distress; grief, loss, death, and dying.

Team members, residents, and community members came together this week for one of our favorite #OneTeam events—enjoying complimentary Fernecrest T-shirts and food, and exploring the various stations that brought to life how we're "Building," "Improving," and "Growing" in alignment with our strategic plan. ??
