A double header! Mesotech AWOS have been installed at Amos/Magny Airport (CYEY) in Quebec and Virden/R.J. Andrew Field Airport (CYVD) in Manitoba, enhancing weather observation capabilities and improving aviation safety across Canada. Completed in partnership with Approach Navigation Systems Inc., these installations provide site-specific, real-time weather data. Both systems are supported by AWOS Live, ensuring pilots and airport operators can access live weather updates anytime, anywhere. It has been a time of growth, collaboration, and innovation, made possible by the continued support of our clients and partners. Here are some key moments that defined this remarkable year: Commercial Installation Growth:?Our commercial installation base has surpassed 100 sites, with over 40 new installations in 2024 alone. From Nigeria to Texas, our team and partners have been busy equipping airports with the latest in weather technology. Expanding Our Team:?This year, we welcomed a Chief Strategy Officer and added 6+ members to our 24/7 Help Desk. We also introduced new roles, like our Customer Success Coordinator, to expand our service capabilities and better support our clients. Innovating Commercial AWOS:?We are actively developing new capabilities for our commercial AWOS systems. A weather camera integration will be available in Q1 2025, and multiple updates to our non-fed AWOS will be launched in Q2 2025, further enhancing the value and versatility of our offerings. Creating a Collaborative Engineering Space:?We transformed one of our conference rooms into a collaborative engineering space. This new area is designed to foster innovation and creativity, equipped with all the essentials for electronics development, our 3D printer, ample work surfaces, whiteboards, and even a mini wind tunnel. We’re excited to see how this new space will help us drive forward-thinking solutions and enhance our capabilities. These accomplishments are not just ours but yours as well.
