In 2024, Meshek joined WSB, a design and consulting firm. Through this partnership, we’re now able to offer our clients new services and even deeper expertise through shared learnings and best practices, reinforcing the value of a partnership with us. Our firms integrate well and provide more access to talent, technology and approaches to better serve our clients and partners. WSB provides engineering, planning, environmental and construction services to clients in the government, commercial and energy markets. We join staff who work together to improve the way people engage with communities, transportation, infrastructure, energy and our environment.
WSB currently supports infrastructure needs throughout the U.S. Since 1988, Meshek has provided specialized hydrology and hydraulic modeling, engineering design for roadways and utilities, right-of-way acquisition and relocation services, and construction management services for communities across Oklahoma. More importantly, Meshek has remained dedicated to exceeding client expectations. We're proud to have supported The Curve project in Moore, OK. This initiative not only tackled severe erosion and flood protection but also transformed the Little River area into a vibrant multi-use space. Funded through a HUD Community Development Block Grant for Disaster Recovery, this project is a statement of pride and resilience of the Moore community. We worked with the City of Tulsa in 2021 to evaluate Fulton Creek flooding issues and develop a Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) grant application to mitigate them. In 2024, FEMA announced that the City was awarded the grant. This will bring nearly $20 million in grant funding for this project, which, combined with local matching funds, will mitigate combined risks in the project area. Meshek would like to take a moment to recognize the Veterans that have sacrificed to serve our country and protect the freedoms of it.
