We're Merlin's Magic Wand Foundation, a non-profit organization that works hard to create magical experiences for children who need them most. We work with families, guardians, partner organizations, hospitals, hospices, orphanages and more. It’s our goal to extend the magic of the Merlin Attractions to children who need it most all across the United States. We like to think of our programs as our "magic spells," and they are: Magical Days Out: The Magical Days Out program provides free tickets to children and their families so they are able to visit the Merlin attraction of their choice. Tickets can be gifted directly to families by MMW, or they can be distributed through one of our preferred partner organizations. Magic On Tour: The Magic on Tour program enables Merlin teams to take the magic of Merlin to children who are unable to visit our sites in person. We work with everyone and anyone across the estate: attractions, characters, artists, model makers, zoo team members, you name it! We visit children who need magic the most, bringing fun to life just for them. In light of recent pandemic visitation restrictions, we’ve taken this program digital! Magical Spaces: The Magic Spaces program partners with non-profit organizations to transform an area where children spend a lot of time into a highly-themed, interactive spot that brings Merlin magic to all who use it. MMW partners with local attractions to nominate and select the local non-profit organizations we work with. Fundraising efforts, both at the local level and by MMW, help offset the cost of each project.

Magical expericences for children who need them most ?
Our partner children's charity, Merlin's Magic Wand, provide magical experiences for children who need them most, and we are proud of our attraction teams across the globe who are collaborating with the charity to help bring these memorable experiences to life. In the last month alone: ?? Make-A-Wish Australia and LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Melbourne teamed up to make 10 year old Audrey's dream to ‘build a custom pink LEGO house, and to have a LEGO minifigure of me’ come true. Audrey has now been officially recognised as an honorary Master Model Builder, and worked with the attraction team to bring her dream to life! ? ?? LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Manchester welcomed LEGO-lover Jake for a VIP visit he’d never forget. Jake had an exclusive one on one session with the attraction's Master Model Builder Jacob where he crafted a special octopus LEGO creation to take back home with him to New Zealand. Jacob even gave Jake some secret tips and tricks to help Jake become a Master Model Builder himself one day! ?? Taking FUNdraising to a whole other level, the Merlin Magic Making team in Florida held a Pie Your Manager event, allowing colleagues to pie their teammates in the face in exchange for a donation to Merlin's Magic Wand Foundation! The event raised $800 towards magical days out for those who need it most and is an incredible example of how our teammates show they care. ??

Bring Joy - Create Connections - Make Memories
When Make-A-Wish Australia reached out to the team at LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Melbourne about a very pink wish, the team couldn’t wait to get started. Audrey’s wish was to have her dream pink house and a Minifigure created out of LEGO, and she shared drawings, sketches, designs, and plans that brought her dream to life ?? From start to finish, Audrey’s dream LEGO build took six months to complete! With three detachable floors, a custom-designed plaque, beautiful pink flowers, and a hidden mermaid grotto, Audrey knew exactly what her house needed to be a dream come true. ?? Huge thank you to the fabulous LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Melbourne team for building this house brick by brick, and to Audrey for such a brilliant wish! Thank you to Make-A-Wish for requesting this wonderful visit ?
