As of today, Meridian Behavioral Health is now EOSIS. The name EOSIS is derived from EOS, the Greek goddess of the dawn. EOSIS signals a new beginning, with new leadership, therapeutic approaches, services, partnerships and growth. With a long history of providing addiction and mental health treatment services to residents across the state of Minnesota and beyond, the shift to EOSIS represents a new dawn and a new era for the company with emphasis on bringing the latest in innovative behavioral health services to those most in need. “As the addiction industry evolves, we are on the forefront of that innovation, so we felt this was a good time to restate our story to all of our audiences,” said Lew Zeidner, CEO of EOSIS. “This is ultimately about providing ethical, compassionate and evidence-based care to anyone that wants to lead a better life free from the challenges of active addiction. EOSIS better reflects the future of our company, culture and care. “I’m excited about what the new brand brings, how we’re working with new and evolving science that’s reflected in our care,” added Zeidner. “Each EOSIS center is a place where patients can find compassionate, credentialed staff who will guide them to a life of recovery.” EOSIS distinguishes itself from other treatment providers in three primary ways: it serves people, regardless of background, situation and resources, it integrates legacy care methodologies with evolving evidence-based treatment protocols and supports patients using an interdisciplinary approach engaging substance use disorder and mental health professionals.
