At last week's Southern California Healthcare Real Estate Summit, hosted by Bisnow, the Finance & Investing panel featured many industry leaders including Meridian’s own Ryan J. Borzouei. The panelists expressed surprising optimism for 2025, noting the positive impact of COVID-driven development slowdowns on supply and demand, which has allowed landlords to push rents. Key takeaways included optimism in sectors like multi-tenant medical office buildings (MOBs), senior housing, and behavioral health. Stone Avenue, will soon be transformed into a state-of-the-art health center for El Rio Health, a trusted healthcare provider serving the Tucson community for over 50 years. Meridian is proud to partner with El Rio Community Health Center in this adaptive reuse project, investing significant capital to revitalize the former cardiovascular hospital. This project is strategically designed to meet the growing demand for primary healthcare in Tucson, with completion expected by early 2026.
