MERGE Solutions LLC employs Smart Glass technology to provide Medical Device Rep's (MDR) expert consulting services, without the MDR in the Operating Room (OR). Hospitals and ASC, using MERGE Solutions, can engage MDRs without the complications of scheduling for remote (underserved) geographies, weather, or traffic delays, and even tightly booked schedules. Doctors can access the expertise they need, immediately, without adding more people in the OR. MDR can be scheduled to consult, regardless of their location, and regardless of their tight schedules. Doctors can have access to the most experienced MDRs, while training new Scrub Techs. Medical Device Companies and Distributorships can now provide their Medical Devices, to all regions of the country, or the world. Companies are no longer confined to regions where they physically have Rep Offices to support their clients. All Patients are now provided the medical solutions and options, that have historically been only available to large city centers, where most of the MDRs provided coverage. MERGE is designed to provide compete HIPAA Compliance. MERGE has incorporated our efficient eSchedule and BOARDING services, to streamline the scheduling of the various stakeholders in Surgical planning. MERGE has incorporated eBilling processes, to simplify (and help with the accuracy of) the accounting of Implants used in Surgical Procedures. Finally, the control of the Remote Surgical Collaboration sessions, including who is invited, who shall be broadcasting their Smart Glasses video feed, what is recorded (or not), is completely controlled by the Charge Nurse in the OR. The Smart Glasses are recommended for the Surgeon and the Scrub Tech. The Remote MDR can control the Microphone and the Headset Speakers, independently for each Smart Glass wearer. This feature provides for quiet instructions to be provided directly to the Scrub Tech, without bombarding the Surgeon with unwanted and distracting conversation.
