We prioritize local businesses as suppliers and encourage our team to shop local, supporting small businesses whenever possible. We also strive to support our workforce and the local community privately in various ways. Many of our team members regularly volunteer with local nonprofits, contributing to a stronger sense of community. We recognize many manufacturers quietly contribute to the community and we encourage you to share stories about your efforts. For those who have not yet partnered with a local non-profit or public school, we encourage you to consider it. Recently, Mercury Plastics partnered with a local elementary and middle school to provide additional support where it’s needed most. Our team members volunteer for projects benefiting this adopted school. For example, there was a recent need to supply winter coats, hats, and gloves to deserving students. A dedicated group of team members shopped, sorted, and delivered these items to ensure every child in need received a new, warm coat, hat, and gloves. Pictured are Jason Pennington, Yosselin Molina, and Maria Segovia, who took on the task of shopping, organizing, and distributing the coats. We are incredibly proud of our team’s commitment and enthusiasm for helping the community. ?
