We’re currently looking for a new studio location on the south side of Atlanta, preferably around Peachtree City, Tyrone, Newnan, Senoia, etc. locations. The ideal space would be about 900+ sq feet. If you know of something, please let us know. If they would be interested in advertising/sponsoring, we’d love to talk!

Listening and Learning. How many times have we been asked by someone who values our opinion to listen to their problems, or told to attend a meeting and watch a “death by PowerPoint” presentation, we receive an OPORD in the field, or we’re asked to learn a new way of doing things, when we weren’t into it. It wasn’t a good day for us or we think we already know the content. In order to be an active listener and a better learner, it requires us to be present in the moment and to take some key actions. There are other actions, but here are a few basic ones: - Pay attention - Show that you’re listening - Defer judgment - Provide feedback - Respond appropriately What else comes to mind that has helped you be a better listener and learner. Let us know in the comments. “Wisdom is the reward you get for a lifetime of listening when you’d have preferred to talk” -Doug Larson #listener #learner #leader #gettingbetter #mentors4mil ?? by SPC Abreanna Goodrich of 25th Infantry Division??Land Nav in the Jungle ??during #JPMRC

Task Force Ranger. We remember. ?? Brad Halling Brad deployed to Somalia as part of Task Force Ranger and fought in the Battle of Mogadishu, later depicted by Hollywood in the movie Black Hawk Down. While fighting in what arguably remains the longest sustained firefight since Vietnam, Brad was wounded when a rocket propelled grenade struck his helicopter, call sign Super 62, and amputated his left leg above the knee. #tfranger #sof #blackhawkdown #specialforces #hallingwhiskey #mentors4mil #podcast Brad Halling American Whiskey Ko. Warrior Wednesday shoutout to this badass. . On August 7, 1942, a U.S. Navy plane was shot down behind enemy lines on Guadalcanal, during the D-Day invasion of the island. One of the native islanders, Jacob Charles Vouza, rescued the pilot and escorted him to the American line. It was here that Vouza met his first group - U.S. Marines. Then over 40 years old and retired from the Solomon Islands Protectorate Armed Constabulary, Vouza immediately volunteered to help the Marines rid his island of the Japanese. Enemy soldiers captured Vouza scouting for the Marines a few weeks later. They tortured him when they found an American flag concealed in Vouza’s loincloth. They bayoneted him in the arms, throat, shoulder, face, and stomach, and left him for dead. Miraculously, Vouza survived, chewed through the ropes binding him, and made his way back to the Marines. After only 12 days in a hospital, Vouza returned to duty as the chief scout for Evans Carlson’s 2d Raider Battalion. Throughout the battle over the island, Vouza played an unwavering and indispensable role in protecting his home and helping the Marines. After the war, General Alexander Vandegrift personally awarded Vouza a Silver Star for his role in the battle. He also received a Legion of Merit for his service with the Marine Raiders, and was given the honorary rank of Sergeant Major in the Marine Corps. The British government presented him with additional medals, and Queen Elizabeth Il knighted him in 1979. Throughout the years, Vouza maintained his friendship with the Marines and flew the American flag outside his home on Guadalcanal. He died in 1984 and was buried in his USMC tunic. #warrior #semperfi #raider #podcast #mentors4mil shared from @bzohistory on Instagram
