Founded in December 2021 by Leo Robinson and Samara Jules-Robinson, Mentors for Fatherless Children and Abused Families is a registered 501(C)(3) organization based in Central Orlando, FL, serving East Orange County and nearby areas. Operating on a limited budget, it initially self-funded events and services, becoming a beacon of hope in the community. For nearly two years, the organization has dedicated itself to supporting underprivileged families and at-risk youth aged 13-18 through three impactful programs: Career Path Mentoring, Family Support Mentoring, and Sports and Music Mentoring, aiming to uplift, educate, and motivate with peace, love, and unity. The demand for these services surged during economic challenges caused by the pandemic. Despite resource limitations, Mentors for Fatherless Children and Abused Families has served over 250 families and community members, aiming to cultivate skills and values that reduce crime rates, domestic violence, and bullying. To meet growing demands, the organization plans to develop or relocate to a new facility, centralizing operations and becoming a beacon of hope in the community. Collaborative efforts with local authorities, schools, churches, and playgrounds are part of the sustainability plan. The organization is confident in securing funding for a permanent home, driven by the founders' personal experiences and commitment to making a lasting impact. Their unwavering dedication to uplifting, educating, and motivating with peace, love, and unity remains the cornerstone of their mission.

Drawing from our experience overseeing mentoring sessions and managing programs for Peer Support and GED interns, our initiatives prioritize skill development essential for their daily lives and future career paths. Our collaborations with career partners and sponsors are structured to provide hands-on training and mentorship, specifically designed to address the needs of individuals facing substance challenges. We offer diverse roles, including sales, manufacturing, and supervisory positions, we create pathways for practical skill-building and career advancement. By integrating workshops and practical skill-building sessions, we aim to empower these groups with the tools and guidance necessary for personal growth and professional development.
