Mentor Collective is excited to announce the expansion of mentorship with Temple University as part of the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities (APLU) Mentorship for Academic and Personalized Student Success (MAPSS) project, making mentorship accessible to ALL incoming Temple freshmen starting in Fall 2025! ?? Dan Berman, Vice Provost for Undergraduate Studies at Temple University, shares, “We’re thrilled to launch this project, which will provide mentoring for all our first-year students—especially first-generation students and those identified as most at-promise. This initiative will help them build connections and cultivate a sense of belonging as they transition into campus life. At the same time, mentors will enhance their leadership and interpersonal skills while guiding younger students through their college journey, ultimately fostering student success.” “Feeling a sense of community and knowing what resources are available increases the likelihood that students will thrive at Temple, make progress toward their degrees and graduate on time,” Berman added.
