On National Women & Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, we stand with all women and girls affected by HIV and AIDS. Mike Hirsch, MHF Chief Nursing Officer & Sr. Director of Clinical Operations for Mills Clinical Research, says "HIV affects women and girls in unique ways and addressing those challenges requires compassion, awareness, and action. Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day is a reminder that the fight against HIV is a fight for justice, equality, and access. On this day and every day, our team stands in solidarity and is committed to advocating for education, access to healthcare, and empowerment for all in the fight against HIV." ??

关于我们
Men’s Health Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization fighting healthcare inequity in Los Angeles with Mills Clinical Research and our clinical partner Southern California Men’s Medical Group. Our Public Programs include SoCal Club, a community center in South LA for gay and trans people of color under 30, as well as access for all ages to PrEP and PEP, help with health insurance, and assistance for people living with HIV. Our in-house pharmacy is URAC-accredited, and our clinics accept most major insurance plans. If you’re currently uninsured or underinsured, we can serve you too.

A recent study confirmed that stigma remains a significant challenge for people with HIV, and directly impacts how well they can stick to their antiretroviral therapy. MHF takes a holistic, evidence-based approach to help our patients feel supported and more likely to stay consistent with their treatment. In commemoration of National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, we acknowledge the barriers to health that disproportionately affect Black people, and continue to strive to combat those inequities on #NBHAAD and every day. ?????????? Codi Gentle, our SoCal Club Outreach Coordinator writes "The importance of National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day stands out now more than ever, as queer identity is legally eradicated and politically brutalized in this country. This year, this day particularly sits closer with me because of the work we do at SoCal club. Reminding us that while the erasure of our digital archives and record keeping of HIV/AIDS research at a federal level are all unforgivable things, we need to ruminate in the sustainability found in our voices, relationships, memories and handwriting when those in power fail us. A day as recognizable as this will never fall no matter how hard it is pushed."
