This week’s LSI Alumni Weekly Recap highlights another week of impressive milestones and announcements. I can’t share them all, but I want to talk about my friends at Mendaera, Inc.: They recently closed a $73M Series B funding round, led by Threshold Ventures. The funds will be used to complete the development of their technology, accelerate the development of their AI and connectivity capabilities, and begin clinical introduction of its platform. Mendaera’s platform under development includes robotics, AI, real-time imaging and virtual connectivity, designed for accessibility across specialties and sites, helping to meet the growing demand for needle-based interventions. This has been a huge week for CEO Josh DeFonzo and his team, and I’m excited to see what’s next for them. I’m thankful that LSI was able to play a small role in their journey! ??
