Known for her skilled courtroom presence, Lorrette has represented clients in both state and federal courts across the U.S. Her background covers a broad range of litigation tasks, including drafting pleadings, depositions, and settlement negotiations. Diana is joining the firm’s estate planning and trust and probate administration practice. She works closely with her clients as a trusted advisor who guides them through complex estate planning, asset protection planning, and probate and trust administration.

When a commercial tenant files bankruptcy and seeks to assign its lease, Section 365(l) of the Bankruptcy Code entitles the landlord to a deposit or other security from the new tenant.?As straightforward as this sounds, this provision has been underutilized by landlords even as the number of commercial bankruptcy filings continues to rise.
