I just had the pleasure of touring Jets MRO’s new facility, and it is gorgeous! They’ve got a packed hangar with a floor you could eat off and a view of the Dallas skyline out the hangar doors. Keep up the good work Suresh!

MAINTENANCE PLANNING TIP OF THE DAY ??? Don’t forget about recurring tasks! ??? When you’re trying to forecast and budget for maintenance, keep in mind that most tracking software only shows the next time a task is due, not each time it repeats after that. For example, a task with a 6-month interval will need to be performed at least 6 times in the next 3 years. But if you pull up a 3-year duelist, it will only show up once! It gets a bit trickier with hour- and cycle-based intervals, especially if your utilization is inconsistent. You might need to perform a 100-hour task once this year, but 3 times next year if your flying picks up. KEY TAKEAWAY: Be cognizant of recurring tasks if you want an accurate plan and budget. Your duelist might be fooling you!
