Last night was one for the books as the Melbourne Chinatown Comedy Club joined in celebrating the Mid Autumn Festival at 'The Couch – International Student Centre.' Thanks to a hilarious set by William Wang, we not only shared our mission of spreading laughter but also introduced live comedy to an audience that might not have experienced it before. The evening was filled with a cultural fashion parade, live performances, food mooncakes, making it a fun night! A big shoutout to Nicolas Ojeda Amador for introducing us to the Couch team and to Gary Lee OAM (IEAA-SF), Mary M Mai, and Yi-Mae for their warm welcome and collaboration. It was wonderful connecting with everyone! We also debuted our new CCC embroidered jumpers with our fresh logo. We kicked off our mission to become the hub for Asian comedians in Melbourne, and the energy was absolutely electric. We were privileged to host City of Melbourne officials, community leaders, and supporters and traders from the Chinatown community.
