  • Project Highlight: MEE was contracted by the Cuyahoga County Board of Health to develop and launch a campaign designed to increase COVID and flu vaccine awareness, readiness and access. The focus of the campaign was to provide culturally-relevant information that dispelled myths surrounding the COVID and flu vaccines and promoted locations where vaccines could be received. A critical element of the campaign was the development of a Community Engagement Digital Toolkit that allowed partnering organizations access to the campaign print materials and social media content so they could develop a vaccine awareness campaign that fit the capabilities and strengths of their organization. The toolkit can be viewed at https://lnkd.in/eH-QJ-mt.

  • Do you want to understand how your agency’s services can be promoted in a more effective manner? Reach out to MEE and learn more about how we can help your organization provide a better user experience for the populations you serve. Project Highlight: MEE conducted user-experience research to help Allegheny County Department of Human Services provide better access and service-entry points for the residents they served. We assessed priority County services and collected first-hand experiences and insights of human-services “customers.” Assessed County services included: Family Support Centers, Senior Centers, Housing/Shelter/Homeless Services and Behavioral Health/Drug and Alcohol Programs. The report MEE presented to AC-DHS included recommendations on how AC-DHS could better convey the services it offers and how residents who could benefit the most can access them.

Project Highlight: In the heart of many communities stand agents of change - Community Health Workers. MEE produced and launched an awareness and education campaign for the Allegheny County Health Department promoting the existence and benefits of Community Health Workers (CHWs). This campaign targeted residents who live in the County’s historically underserved communities. The CHW 4 All Campaign addressed health disparities by getting low-income BIPOC residents connected to a range of health and social services. Check out a campaign video at https://lnkd.in/gM4XrPzi.

  • ?? A Holiday Tip for Families Impacted by Addiction Brought to you by Pathway to Care and Recovery (PCR) & the Connect Protect Recover Campaign: “Set clear boundaries and try to avoid triggering conversations. Focus on positive experiences, and remember—the holidays are not the time to confront the person in addiction but a time to enjoy being together.” – Dana Grant, Assessment Specialist, Pathway to Care and Recovery Setting boundaries helps you care for yourself while supporting your loved one. Yelling or confronting them while they are under the influence won’t help—in the moment, you’re really talking to their addiction or disease, not to them. Instead, try to create a safe space where you can focus on connection and help them find the care they need after the holidays. #ConnectProtectRecover #HolidayTips #FamilySupport #AddictionRecovery #PathwayToCare
