Are you interested in training in Neurologic Music Therapy (NMT)?? The Academy of Neurologic Music Therapy will be holding an NMT Training hosted by MedRhythms at the Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts from April 24-27th! ?? The Academy of Neurologic Music Therapy? will teach a 4-day, 30-hour workshop providing allied professionals, music therapists, and students with the clinical training and scientific knowledge necessary to practice within the Neurologic Music Therapy? (NMT?) System of Techniques. Pretraining- 5 hours Synchronous-31.5 Speech Track- 18.5 hours Cognitive Track-18.25 hours Sensorimotor Track-18.5 hours Allied Professionals are able to register for the tracks that are most relevant for them. Music therapists must complete the entirety of the training to become an Neurologic Music Therapist. This event will be held in person and there will be a registration option for those who are interested in participating online.

MedRhythms today announced that InTandem?, the company's flagship rehabilitation system for chronic stroke gait impairment, received a final payment determination from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). CMS finalized the preliminary pricing determination that payments would be made on a capped rental basis, with monthly Medicare payment amounts based on the commercial pricing for InTandem.

MedRhythms today announced that CMS established a new HCPCS code to describe InTandem: E3200 (gait modulation system, rhythmic auditory stimulation, including restricted therapy software, all components and accessories, prescription only). CMS also determined that InTandem qualified under Medicare’s durable medical equipment (DME) benefit category based on InTandem’s durability and indication for home use.
