Today’s post is the story of two FIRSTS and a (no less important) SECOND. And this time we remembered to take photos. (Sorry to everyone hoping for more nightmarish AI representations of what we do.)
At a recent commissioning for Atrium Health in Charlotte, we celebrated TrueNorth Medical Physics FIRST-ever joint commissioning. Joining forces with Gloria Beyer and Medical Physics Services LLC made the commissioning go smoothly. Thank you, Gloria.
Another big first happened because of TrueNorth’s commitment to helping train the next generation of medical physicists. Ashkan Shafiee, a resident from Wake Forest, worked his FIRST-ever commissioning. Thanks for all of your help! We hope we can work with you again in the future. ?
Finally, we celebrated our SECOND commissioning at the Atrium Levine Cancer Institute. We enjoyed being back, and really appreciated the help of Hongjun Zhang who was there to assist and doublecheck our work. We appreciate you, Hongjun.
Bonus shoutout to Levine’s Assistant Vice President – Medical Physics Carnell Jermaine Hampton, PhD. FAAPM, who stopped by to make sure we felt welcome. You have a wonderful facility.
The job in Charlotte went great, but all good things must come to an end. It’s time to chart a path to our next TrueNorth adventure. Keep following us to see where we end up next.
