Chelsy is a long time Dobie Road employee who started as a resident assistant, continued her education to become a certified nursing assistant, and is now one of our amazing nurses. Chelsy received multiple nominations for being positive, a team player, thorough, knowledgeable, kind, compassionate, and always working to improve the lives of our residents. Happy Nurses' Week 2024! We are so very appreciative and grateful for our Dobie Road nurses and all they do every day for our residents. In honor of and to kick of nurses' week, we are ECSTATIC to announce that Dobie Road now participates with the DAISY FOUNDATION and offers the DAISY AWARD for extraordinary nurses! The DAISY AWARD is an international recognition program that honors and celebrates the skillful, compassionate care nurses provide every day. The Daisy Award program was established by the family of J. Patrick Barnes after he passed from complications of an auto-immune disease. They deeply appreciated the care and compassion shown to him during his hospitalization and felt compelled to say "thank you" to nurses in a very public way.
