Adtech minds to cover?Thriving in Chaos. The “panel-free” conversations were insightful, opinionated, and applicable today. Here are some of our SVP?Marcus Pratt and Activation Director?Alexis Sheehy Coulter, MBA's top findings: - LLMs are already disrupting consumer search behavior. 'AIO' (replacing SEO”) is going to become a larger factor in brand strategy and reporting - Cookies are really going away (eventually), and the industry is (almost) ready, with multiple targeting and reporting solutions scaling to take their place. - Not surprising: brands are using Gen AI to produce and adapt creative with greater speed at a lower cost, though there was less discussion on Gen AI applications to media activation. - Media quality is increasingly prioritized in media buying. There’s a marked shift towards attention as a signal (and little mention of viewability), and clear demand for better brand safety tools. - After trending towards a duopoly, the programmatic landscape is fragmenting, while power appears to be shifting to the supply side. As AI content explodes, I encourage advertisers and agencies to demand more from media companies. Many platforms insist that AI-generated content is labeled for their users, and it seems reasonable for advertisers to ask for transparency, control and performance reporting when ads are served alongside AI generated content. https://lnkd.in/g6MqUfph
