I had the incredible honor of attending the inaugural Google for Startups North America Alumni Summit last week at Google’s iconic Spruce Goose Hangar in Playa Vista, California. ??? This event brought together some of the most innovative minds, founders, and Google teams to explore the future of tech and the transformative potential of AI. The energy, collaboration, and shared vision for innovation were nothing short of inspiring. As part of the summit, I had the privilege of participating in a breakout session, "Funding the Future: Diverse Paths to Capital and Exit Strategies," where I joined fellow founders to discuss the challenges, opportunities, and unique perspectives we bring as entrepreneurs shaping industries and creating equity-driven solutions. For MedHaul, the journey has always been about more than just technology—it’s about improving healthcare access for underserved communities and empowering systems to deliver better outcomes. St. Jude Children's Research Hospital embodies hope and healing for families facing challenging health conditions. We were honored to sponsor the recent Spirit of the Dream?event, which celebrated the philanthropic contributions of African Americans who are advancing the mission of St. Jude Children's Hospital. Today, representatives from the 150+ CancerX member organizations gathered for our annual member meeting. They convened with federal representatives to share cancer priorities and align the CancerX mission, goals, and vision for #digitalinnovation for the year ahead. Yesterday’s 2024 Centene Corporation Enterprise Procurement Supplier Summit: Partnership with Purpose was so valuable for the MedHaul team! After launching with our 1st Centene plan in Oklahoma earlier this year, the support from the organization and the Oklahoma Complete Health plan have been unmatched. This summit provided us with great insights on how continue to be an effective partner with Centene and an advocate for its members. It was a welcome surprise to receive a shoutout for our innovative and inclusive approach to addressing transportation barriers for Centene Medicaid members in Oklahoma as mentioned by Erika McConduit and Wade Rakes during the Business Overview panel with Susan Smith and Alice Hm Chen.
