Dr. Hogarth is an experienced Internal Medicine physician with a strong background in academic medicine and expertise in Translational Research, Clinical Informatics, Public Health Informatics, and Clinical Natural Language Processing. His work at the intersection of computer science and medicine includes research in software development, database systems, and quantum computing. Notably, he has led major biomedical informatics initiatives such as UC-ReX, I-SPY2, WISDOM, and Cal-IVRS, the latter of which he has directed for 20 years. This week, we’re excited to kick off the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) Innovation Hub (iHub) Challenge at MSK’s Rockefeller Research Laboratories facility. The iHub Challenge is a three-month program that brings together a cohort of cutting-edge companies to work with MSK clinical and digital health experts on innovation initiatives. Each cohort centers around a unique theme, with this year’s theme aimed at improving remote delivery of clinical care. The Fall 2024 cohort includes the following ten companies: Addinex, Biogenesis, Cancer Insights, CliniBiz, Jeeva Clinical Trials, Medeloop, Medzoomer, Oncoshot, Synchronyx, and Triomics.
