Big News for the Medea Charitable Foundation! We are thrilled to announce that our President, Randy Winn, has been named the Vice President of Player Development for the San Francisco Giants! Buster Posey, President of Baseball Operations, stated, "Randy is part of the Bay Area’s rich baseball history and brings a deep knowledge and understanding of the game from his playing and post-playing career. He has also been dedicated to serving the youth of our community through his work and leadership with the Giants Community Fund, and we feel Randy is the right person to help take our player development to the next level.” We couldn’t be more proud of Randy and are excited to continue supporting his impactful work with the Medea Charitable Foundation, the Giants, and the communities he serves. Partnership Alert: The Medea Charitable Foundation (MCF) is proud to join forces with the National Hockey League (NHL) Foundation? to support youth sports and empower young girls through hockey! At the inaugural “NHL Legends Social & Charity Auction,” we showcased the @Stanley Cup?, raising an incredible $165,000 to benefit youth sports and hockey programs. A special highlight: $20,000 was dedicated to the NHL Foundation’s Empowerment Grant for Girls Hockey, providing more opportunities for young girls to grow in the sport we love.
