Big News for the Medea Charitable Foundation! We are thrilled to announce that our President, Randy Winn, has been named the Vice President of Player Development for the San Francisco Giants! Buster Posey, President of Baseball Operations, stated, "Randy is part of the Bay Area’s rich baseball history and brings a deep knowledge and understanding of the game from his playing and post-playing career. He has also been dedicated to serving the youth of our community through his work and leadership with the Giants Community Fund, and we feel Randy is the right person to help take our player development to the next level.” We couldn’t be more proud of Randy and are excited to continue supporting his impactful work with the Medea Charitable Foundation, the Giants, and the communities he serves. Medea is honored to participate in Overdose Lifeline, Inc’s (ODL) 10th Annual Golf Outing in Indiana on June 20 to raise funds to support those affected by addiction. Since 2014, ODL has been leading the way in the fight against the opioid epidemic, offering support to individuals, families and communities affected by the disease of addiction. Those living in Indiana interested in supporting ODL's day-to-day harm reduction, program development, and awareness efforts can volunteer for the upcoming overdose reversal kit assembly event on June 25 from 5 to 7 p.m. The event will be held at the Overdose Lifeline offices located at 1100 W 42nd Street, Suite 385, Indianapolis, IN 46208. The overdose reversal kits will be distributed throughout Indiana, potentially saving lives. Currently, ODL distributes an average of 6,000 kits per week to individuals and families in 92 counties.
