Dozens of entrepreneurs attended our Roadmap to Business Success course on Lending Essentials last week and received financial counsel from MEDA experts. This session focused on equipping small business owners with need-to-know, actionable guidance they can use to plan the financial future of their business. The course is part of our Volunteer Accelerator Network (VAN) program, and the next session focuses on business tax law. Miluska Novota, owner of Hortensia Law PLLC will be the featured speaker for this event.?

15 BIPOC small business owners are participating in the 2025 Ascend Twin Cities cohort that just kicked off at our offices in Minneapolis. The program offers management education curriculum at the Carlson School of Management to help entrepreneurs scale their businesses. Members have access to our technical assistance and lending services for contract financing and are from a broad range of businesses in the area, spanning the technology, legal, project management, and digital marketing sectors.
