It was an honor to attend last night’s Medal of Honor Foundation Dinner at the NYSE through my longstanding participation with American Corporate Partners (ACP). It was wonderful to see so much support for our Veterans from companies like UBS and HSBC and Morgan Stanley and S&P Global. Congratulations to General Mark A. Milley, USA (Ret.), 20th Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, for his unparalleled service and thank you to our Nation’s Veterans for their service and sacrifice.

Honoured to have been one of 23 Veterans from across Goldman Sachs welcoming 17 Congressional Medal of Honor Recipients, the Medal of Honor Foundation and the Congressional Medal of Honor Society to our New York Headquarters last week – true heroes, whose stories of exceptional courage, teamwork and sacrifice were humbling and a true inspiration. ? Goldman Sachs has over 450 current and former service member colleagues, with a global Veterans Network of over 5,000 members, and we continue to make a concerted effort to recruit military leaders into our businesses. https://lnkd.in/e_2nnzxP Medal of Honor Foundation Congressional Medal of Honor Society

What an incredible experience it was to attend the Medal of Honor Workshop today at the Reagan Library! This workshop provided powerful lessons and video recollections from those who have received the Medal of Honor, reminding us of the courage, sacrifice, and integrity that define true heroism. It was especially meaningful to participate in a workshop led by two admirable women, a fitting experience during Women’s History Month. I highly recommend this workshop to my fellow educators and community leaders as a valuable opportunity to learn, reflect, and bring these important lessons to those we serve. I am honored to have received a certificate of completion and the many resources shared with us. As a historian and educator, I see great value in equipping students not only with historical knowledge of our heroes but also with the tools to create an impact in their own communities. The Character Development Program offered profound insights, not just for students, but for my own personal and professional journey as well. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this experience possible. I am truly grateful to have been a part of it. Medal of Honor Foundation Reagan EDU

The Medal of Honor is not just an award—it is a solemn covenant. It represents courage in the face of impossible odds, sacrifice without hesitation, and a brotherhood that extends beyond the battlefield. For those who wear it, the Medal is not a trophy. It is a weight—a reminder of the ones who never came home, the lives forever changed by a single act of valor, and the duty to uphold the values they fought to protect. Since the Civil War, fewer than 4,000 individuals have received our nation’s highest award for valor. Today, only 61 remain. Their numbers grow fewer each year, but their legacy must endure. The weight of responsibility to carry this legacy forward falls on us. This?#MedalofHonorMarch, leading up to National?#MedalofHonorDay?on March 25, we are called to do more than remember. We must honor them—not just with words, but with action. We must carry their stories forward, preserve their sacrifice, and ensure their courage is never forgotten. They did not fight for recognition. They fought for us. Now, it is our duty to carry the weight of their honor and uphold the values they so bravely defended. ????
