    Ever wanted to know the vibe with your biggest fans at the click of a button???? This one feels really special and so excited to announce: Community Sentiment, powered by Medallion AI!!!!! Artists on Medallion can now see a summary of fan “vibes” for the week across all fan posts, comments, and chats in their communities. Artists will also see themes around what fans are saying so that they can take action to build deeper relationships with their fans. This is especially powerful when paired with our Insights dashboard, which breaks down performance data about recent content and activations such as exclusive First Listens or Listening Parties. Now, artists will not only see the data, but understand the “why” behind the data to continue improving the campaigns and activations that delight their most avid fans. Huge shoutout to Louis Guidetti for leading the charge on this!!!

    Listening parties are a dime a dozen in the music industry, and I’m proud to share that what we’ve built feels genuinely different and authentic because it is artist owned (!!!). Starting last week, artists on Medallion can host listening parties (listening powered by Spotify) directly in their communities with email and push notifications. During the event, the artists’ latest messages are highlighted so that commentary and responses can be easily seen by all fans. Imagine Dragons, Sigur Ros, Girl in Red, and J Balvin were the first to introduce this new experience to their communities, and the response was overwhelming. We saw fans making real life connections, adding insight to the BTS commentary shared by artists, and asking for more! We can’t wait to expand this to more artists and make the experience even richer so that artists and fans build a meaningful connection through our product.

    In late March, we launched First Listens as a way for artists to offer first access to music before it is released on DSPs. Artists such as J Balvin, Disclosure, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, and Tycho have been using the feature to share clips of new music and demos to grow and engage their communities. Many of these communities saw double digit growth in the 24 hours after a First Listen, and one out of 5 members engaged. The fan excitement and conversations around the music has been amazing to see in our product, and our team already have a ton of great ideas for how to make a First Listens experience even more meaningful for fans in the future.     Push notifications for Medallion powered artist communities are now live

    We just launched the ability for fans to enable push notifications for Medallion powered artist communities. That means anytime an artist posts content to their community, a push notification will be sent to their users. From there it’s just one step to get fans into the artists’s Medallion powered consumption experience whether it’s listening, watching or buying This is a huge step forward to building a sustainable direct comms channels between artists and fans as it reduces reliance on costly, usage based direct marketing tools. We’re seeing that fans who enable push notifications have a multiples higher ‘fan score’ than other cohorts - meaning they're sharing, buying and engaging within the community at multiples higher of a rate Excited to keep helping artists and their teams get smarter about direct marketing through Medallion’s technology!     At Medallion, we’ve built technology to help artists directly grow and engage their fanbases around music, merchandise and tickets. We just launched “First Listens” which enables artists to drop music ahead of wider releases to their communities on Medallion. One of our first artists who activated the feature saw the following results within 24 hours: ?? 70 % growth in community size (thousands of new members) ?? 50% of total members listened to the track ?? 13% of total members commented / actively engaged with the track Nurturing your fanbase is the first step to unlocking the super fan economy. Fans in the Medallion powered communities are more leaned in and more valuable than any where else.
