The Axle Tube Bender from Sunshine Automation & Tooling efficiently bends V-drops for boat trailers in square steel tubing. The machine utilized two synchronized 85,000 lbs. force Kyntronics actuators that generated up to 1 million pounds of force using mechanical advantage. This machine is designed for versatility, capable of bending 5” x 5” x 1/4” tubing and handling ‘stinger’ profiles for enhanced load capacity. An adjustable over-bend feature allows for precise pre-stress angles which is crucial in applications like boat trailers. A built-in spindle drill automatically creates a drain hole in the V-drop, adding to the functionality and reducing manual labor.
