The Mechanical Contractors Association of Las Vegas is the preeminent voice of signatory mechanical contractors throughout Southern Nevada. The MCA is a professional trade association that represents, promotes and advances the interests of the mechanical contracting industry and offers its member companies a robust platform of labor relations, government affairs, public relations, networking and safety and training initiatives. Incorporated in 1961, the MCA is one of the oldest construction trade associations in the state of Nevada. The MCA’s birthright is owed to a baker’s dozen of mechanical contractors with a forte in trailblazing and problem-solving. These contractors collectively valued the betterment of industry as priority number one. MCA contractors are the crème-de-la crème construction partners with owners, developers and general contractors. The Las Vegas Strip is dubbed the MCA contractors’ perennial jobsite. MCA contractors are the authority in the light commercial, commercial, industrial, public works and service and maintenance arenas. These contractors’ talents range from simple and routine to diverse and complex with expertise in plumbing, mechanical, refrigeration, cooling systems, medical and gas pipelines. The MCA contractor sets industry standards for excellence, outpaces their competition by engineering solutions and unites the practical application of new technologies to exceed customer expectations. The MCA and its contractors join in touting the professionalism, cost-effectiveness and productivity of union construction. MCA contractors utilize the highly skilled plumbers, pipefitters and service technicians of UA Local 525.
