We are deeply saddened by the passing of Narsai David, a Bay Area culinary legend and longtime supporter of MOWAC. Narsai was one of the Bay Area’s most recognizable and well-known chefs. He was one of the originators of the farm-to-table movement and shaped the Bay Area culinary scene through his restaurant and decades-long media presence. Narsai knew the power of a meal. He knew that a meal is more than nourishment, it is a chance for connection and to create community. His dedication to the community will be his lasting legacy. we send our deepest condolences to his family in this difficult time.
