Last week, we had the pleasure of visiting Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland, Inc. We were so inspired to see first hand the amazing work the organization does. What moved us most was coming to understand just how deep their service goes. They provide nutritious meals to those who need them, but they also build powerful relationships with the people they support. Through their work, Meals on Wheels is alleviating social isolation and building resilient connections within communities. Last Thursday, we met with our community partners. Held three times a year, these meetings offer us an opportunity to review new menu cycles, discuss organizational changes, and share fresh ideas. It’s also a valuable time to gather feedback and plan for the future.
