LEED v5's new Quality of Life impact area emphasizes the “human side” of building design, accounting for 25% of LEED v5 credits. ?? What's new? Enhanced air quality standards and resilient design features protect building occupants from climate challenges like wildfire smoke and extreme temperatures. ?? Did you know? All LEED v5 buildings require MERV 13 filtration—eliminating Legionella, flu particles, and dust while remaining cost-effective. In the blog, Shana Scheiber, P.E., CEM, LEED AP IDC, WELL AP discusses why air quality matters and how LEED v5 sets new standards and recommendations to improve projects’ indoor and outdoor air quality. ?? https://lnkd.in/eWwfrkYC #SustainableDesign #LEEDv5 #BuildingWellness #ClimateResilience

In the world of food and beverage manufacturing, maintaining the right temperature at various production stages is crucial. Ammonia is one of the most efficient refrigerants used today, but handling it requires strict safety protocols. That's where Standard Operating Procedures, or SOPs, come into play. In this latest blog post, Fritz Weidenfeller explains why implementing SOPs is just the first step, and why regular training and updates are essential to reducing the risk of accidents and improving overall performance. ?? https://lnkd.in/g7DYFvmP #IndustrialRefrigeration #SOPs #FoodBev #MeadHunt
