(formerly known as Mendez England & Associates, Inc.). They formed the firm more than 30 years ago in Washington, D.C., to provide consulting services to U.S. federal, state, and municipal governments. I’m happy to share that I have joined the USAID Rwanda Collaborating, Learning and Adapting (CLA) Activity as a MEL Specialist (Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning) with ME&A, Inc. In this role, I’ll be focusing on developing and managing MEL systems, including data collection, analysis, and reporting, to support the CLA approach and improve adaptive management processes. Working closely with partners to ensure that high-quality evaluations, towards stronger project outcomes. My commitment to data-driven solutions remains firm as I continue serving vulnerable communities towards sustainable development for improved livelihoods. I’d also like to express deep gratitude for the past three years at AEE Rwanda where I worked as M&E, Communications and Outreach Manager. I had the privilege of engaging at grassroot-level with projects in various sectors towards social development, inclusion, livelihood transformation and economic empowerment across the country. This experience has sharpened my knowledge in creating sustainable change, tailored solutions and strategies for specific contexts. I’m excited to bring these insights into my new role. Thank you to my colleagues, partners, and communities for this fruitful journey. Looking forward to this next chapter.

ME&A recently shared impactful strategies to bolster sustainable conservation in Papua New Guinea (PNG) and beyond following a performance evaluation of USAID’s Lukautim Graun Program (LGP). Since 2019, LGP has enhanced biodiversity protection through participatory, localized approaches, focusing on gender inclusion and climate resilience. ME&A's evaluation assessed LGP’s effectiveness, identifying key insights and lessons learned to shape future USAID conversation initiatives.
