ME&A CEO and President Teresita Perez, ME&A Chief of Strategy and Innovation Thomas England, and Senior Vice President Carlos Beale are among the four original founders of ME&A, Inc. (formerly known as Mendez England & Associates, Inc.). They formed the firm more than 30 years ago in Washington, D.C., to provide consulting services to U.S. federal, state, and municipal governments. Beginning with a hands-on background in federal and local governance, ME&A has branched out into a variety of development sectors working with U.S. government agencies and international organizations globally. ME&A's clients include the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), the U.S. Department of State, the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), the World Bank, and more than a dozen government agencies at the federal, state, and local level, commercial firms, non-profit organizations, and educational institutions.

Hi everyone--I am devastated to join the ranks of international development professionals impacted by the foreign aid freeze. I am so grateful for my time at ME&A, Inc., where I privileged to be part of a team of incredible people creating real impact with their work. It's tough to know what the future of our industry will look like, but nevertheless I am on the hunt for position where my skills will continue to make a difference. I’m flexible on job titles--I have experience in business development, proposal coordination, public outreach and marketing, monitoring and evaluation, and program coordination (I have a PMP certification). I pride myself on my writing and communication skills. ?? I’m open to roles in Salt Lake City or remote. ? I’ve previously worked at ME&A, Inc., Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas, and Catholic Relief Services. I am a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer and an Americorps VISTA Volunteer. ?? I have a Masters in Global Affairs with a concentration in Sustainable Development from the University of Notre Dame and I graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelors of Arts in English and a minor in International Studies from Oklahoma State University.

ME&A recently evaluated the USAID and Australia Mekong Safeguards Program, which strengthens environmental and social governance (ESG) safeguards for infrastructure in Asia’s Mekong subregion. One key finding was how co-funding between USAID and the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT)?has created greater programming opportunities and flexibility, enhancing the program’s ability to address critical needs. This work was a task order under our USAID/RDMA MEL4PCM activity, supporting the USAID Regional Development Mission for Asia in better monitoring, evaluation, and knowledge-sharing for impactful development.? With migration at historic levels due to violence, economic hardship, and climate change, WHP plays a vital role in helping governments and stakeholders across 12 countries manage migration safely, humanely, and sustainably.
