Tonight was a very exciting night for Mt. Diablo Unified School District & Mt. Diablo High School as we unveiled the new Turf & Track surfaces at the ribbon cutting to reopen our stadium. I’d like to recognize and thank everyone who made this project possible—our school leadership, district officials, our community, and, of course, the hardworking teams who brought this vision to life. Your dedication has given our students a top-tier facility where they can train, compete, and create lasting memories. Our new sports surfaces aren’t just an upgrade—it’s an investment in our future. It provides a safer, more durable, and high-performance surface for our student-athletes, ensuring they have the best possible experience on the field. Whether it’s Friday night lights, physical education classes, or community events, this stadium will be a place of energy, passion, and school spirit for years to come. MDUSD recognizes March as Women's History Month, providing an opportunity for schools and communities to focus attention on the historical role and accomplishments of CA and US women and for students, in particular, to benefit from awareness of these contributions. The Mt. Diablo Unified School District Board has proclaimed the month of March as Women’s History Month and encourages all schools to commemorate this occasion with appropriate instructional materials.

Four MDUSD Latina counselors presented their "Cafecito Con Las Consejeras" (Coffee with the Counselors) parent engagement model at the National School Counseling Leadership Conference last week.
