MAJ is the leading advocate and legal education provider for the civil justice system and consumer rights.
关于我们
The Maryland Association for Justice is dedicated to improving the civil justice system through legislative advocacy and the professional and ethical development of attorneys who represent the injured. Founded in 1954 by a small group of trial attorneys, MAJ was first known as the Maryland Plaintiff's Bar Association. As an unincorporated organization, this small group of lawyers held monthly meetings, invited guest speakers and spent many hours discussing trial tactics, settlement strategies, various points of law and legislative activity in Annapolis. Later, the Association incorporated as a non-profit, professional association and renamed itself the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association while developing a cooperative relationship with the American Association for Justice (AAJ). On October 29, 2008, the Association changed its name from the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association to the Maryland Association for Justice, Inc. Please join The Maryland Association for Justice LinkedIn Group to connect with members today. Search "Maryland Association for Justice" under Groups.

Lawyer Turned Professional Stylist | Empowering Women Attorneys, Executives and Entrepreneurs Through Personal Style
I used to believe blending in was the key to success. In law school, career services drilled it into me: ? Wear black and grey suits. Nothing memorable. ? Minimal jewelry. Do not stand out. ? Let your skills not your image speak for you. So I: ? I put my head down. ? Worked hard. ? Waited to be noticed. But instead of recognition, I felt invisible. Meanwhile, other associates, who knew how to stand out, got the bigger cases. I did not know how to be seen in a way that felt natural. Then I got a pair of glasses. That's it. Nothing else changed. Suddenly: My partners noticed me. (I got compliments). I felt a new sense of presence.?? (I carried myself differently). I started getting bigger cases. (I felt like an expert and was treated like one). That is when I realized: Good work is the baseline but visibility is what sets you apart. Style is not just about looking polished. It is a tool for authority. ? It makes you stand out in the right way ? It signals confidence before you even speak ? It fast tracks trust and credibility That one shift in my image changed the trajectory of my career. And now I help women in law do the same. ? You do not build authority by blending in. ? You do not get ahead by waiting to be noticed. ? You do not stand out if you look like everyone else. This is for the women ready to be seen as the experts they already are. Repost ?? this if you agree. #PersonalBranding #WomenInLaw #ExecutivePresence
