The US has prospered and led the world in large part due to investment in basic/fundamental research. It’s needed now more than ever. We still do the hardest things and can do even more of the boldest projects. We’re on the cusp of building the largest and most powerful telescope ever imagined (Habitable Worlds Observatory)! Let’s focus on ensuring we’re getting stronger in science and technology across the board.

We are seeing CONNECTIVITY and ACTION across #Maryland enhancing our #MarylandAerospace industry and ensuring we have a #workforce ready to execute! Georgie Brophy, our MAA Co-Founder, was inspired by students sharing their stories and journeys in aerospace-related areas from Capitol Technology University, Morgan State University, Coppin State University, University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Bowie State University, University of Maryland, University of Maryland Baltimore County, Community College of Baltimore County, Wor-Wic Community College, College of Southern Maryland. And, she was honored to represent the MAA during Lt Governor Aruna Miller's Aerospace Industry and Education Roundtable during a Space4All discussion alongside industry advocate and leader Bridget Chatman. Board member, Kajal Pancholi, P.E. participated as a public representative to the inaugural Maryland Aerospace & Technology Commission (#MATC) meeting and was inspired by the vision for this great Aerospace State of Maryland by MD Department of Commerce Secretary Kevin Anderson, State Senator Alonzo Washington, and Commissioners (including Makenzie Lystrup, PhD, Bobby Braun, Jennifer Lotz, Alison Flatau, Ryan Gerard, Dale Moore, EdD, Charles Ichoku, Barbara Lam, Georgie Brophy and MD State Delegate Mark Chang.) #commerce #aviation #commercialspace #spaceexploration Thank you Colter Menke, Ulyana V.
