关于我们
We inspire, develop and drive leaders to solve the most critical challenges of our time. Founded in 1985 by John and Anne Welsh McNulty, our Foundation's values are informed by both families’ experiences as Irish immigrants welcomed by America and grounded in our belief in the value of education and the importance of opportunity. We believe in a few fundamental human desires: to live meaningful lives, to build better ones for our children, to have a stake in our futures and communities. We recognize the central role individual leadership plays in effecting change and enabling people to take control of their future and reach their potential. Our programs support individuals at different stages of their leadership journey, from elevating examples of high-impact leaders through the John P. McNulty Prize, and incubating leadership in students and individuals with great potential through our academic partnerships.

#McNultyPrize Laureates Maria Pacheco and Alexandra Kissling members of Vital Voices Global Partnership are empowering women in Central America to succeed economically and socially. In a region where 1 in 3 women face violence and many work without protection or fair pay, Vital Voices is tackling systemic inequalities head-on. By amplifying women’s voices and fostering leadership, they’re driving change and building a more inclusive, equitable future. At the McNulty Foundation, we believe leadership creates a ripple effect— when one leader rises, entire communities are transformed. Alongside our President, Anne Welsh McNulty, we were thrilled to bring our community together at Saint Joseph's University for an inspiring talk from Dr. Amy Cheng Vollmer at the annual reception for the John P. McNulty Program for Leadership in Science and Mathematics. Dr. Cheng Vollmer spoke to our community of students, parents, faculty and university leaders about how to support the advancement of women in STEM. Using nature as a model, how can we cultivate an ecosystem of growth, resilience, recovery and cooperation in how we recruit, train, and support women in STEM? Our students left feeling energized and motivated, fueling their passion as they pursue their STEM degrees and work toward becoming the next generation of leaders in science and math.
