#MBPRClient Middle Tennessee Electric gave NewsChannel 5 Network reporter Kim Rafferty an inside look at the crucial work of tree trimming and proactive power management. With trees near or under electric lines being a leading cause of outages, MTE’s vegetation management team always is hard at work clearing limbs, brush and trees from electrical lines and equipment. They ensure every section of MTE’s nearly 15,000 miles of energized lines is pruned on a six-year cycle, while residential yard trees are trimmed every three years. Our team had an incredible few days in Jacksonville visiting the CSX headquarters and connecting with our client and its community partners Operation Gratitude and First Responders Children's Foundation. With its dedication to those who have served and currently serve our country, CSX played a key role as a sponsor and in celebrating Military Appreciation Day at THE PLAYERS Championship. We are grateful for the opportunity to work alongside a team that is passionate about providing service to the military and first responder community and beyond.

This week the McNeely Brockman Public Relations team spent two days away from our office to plan, prepare and play. We had the best time brainstorming, building for the future, learning and laughing so hard we cried. Big thanks to … ?? Our fabulous team, who worked hard to make our time together valuable and fun. Every single person on staff planned or coordinated a session, meal or activity. ?? Our amazing clients for letting us step away to grow and learn and trusting us with their stories and business goals. ?? Our families, who held down the forts at home and especially to my husband Scott who spent a big chunk of his week off helping us prep for retreat and building furniture for our new office. ? And extra thanks to The Intention Collective and Zach Montroy, 1212 Germantown and Brittany Tucker, and Germantown Inn for making this retreat our best yet. It’s not easy to hit pause on client work and life to step away, but it’s an investment in our team culture that yields priceless results. ??
