A new hotel is proposed in Jamaica, Queens at 93-47 Sutphin Boulevard. The new 27-story Hilton Garden Inn-branded hotel would feature 225 keys across the 125,000 SF structure. Starting the week on a high! Last week, our team – Pinar Harris, AIA, David Ser, Hermann Gonzalez, AIA, and Kaila Benz - headed on-site to celebrate the official topping-out ceremony for Art House in St. Petersburg, Florida. Once complete, the 42-story mixed-use tower will reach 450 feet, joining the ranks of the tallest buildings in St. Petersburg. With a strong connection to the waterfront, Art House fosters the area's focus on public/pedestrian connection with carefully designed architectural elements including building stepbacks, terracing, and open amenity spaces. The 15-story, 247,000 SF building features 237 affordable apartments?with 36 units reserved for the formerly homeless, 8,000 SF of retail space, and 7,500 SF of community facility space. AdventHealth Riverview is the newest of the health system’s hospitals in the State of Florida. The four-story, 282,000 square foot facility expands AdventHealth’s services on Florida’s west coast and was designed with future growth in mind. HuntonBrady collaborated with AdventHealth to design a destination for high-quality healthcare with a hospitality-like feel. The new hospital welcomes patients and staff with its crescent-shaped structure, acting as an embrace upon arrival. A two-story public concourse, gift shop, chapel, multiple courtyards, and full-service café provide ample amenities for staff and families. The new Riverview Hospital will provide the community with access to much needed healthcare services, including surgery, imaging, an emergency department, and a mother and baby unit. We are extremely proud of this important project, and we’re excited to watch the campus grow alongside the city of Riverview!
