We have closed and continue to close on a lot of loans in the San Antonio market. Like many other markets across the Sun Belt, San Antonio has seen a recent slowdown in rent growth due to the large amount of new supply, however the long-term prospects are great. San Antonio remains one of the top markets in country for population growth (#9 for 2023 and #3 in 2022) and this trend should continue as it’s the most affordable of the major metros in Texas and has a well-diversified economy.
