The M360 MENA conference, held under the patronage of H.E Mr. Mohammed bin Ali Al Mannai, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, and hosted by Ooredoo Qatar, and organised by the Global System for Mobile Communications Association (GSMA) concluded. the event brought together over 3,000 participants, including leaders and experts in technology and digital innovation, to explore ways of advancing digital infrastructure in the Middle East and North Africa. The closing ceremony of the conference included the handover ceremony between Qatar and Uzbekistan, where H.E. Mr. Mohammed bin Ali Al Mannai officially handed over the next edition of the M360 conference to Uzbekistan’s Minister of Digital Technology, H.E. Sherzod Shermatov. This initiative reflects ongoing collaboration between the two countries and sets the stage for Uzbekistan’s hosting of the upcoming M360 Eurasia event in May 2025.

The State of Qatar’s efforts in the field of digital transformation were also presented , emphasizing the importance of exchanging expertise and knowledge in technological innovation, and ways to foster cooperation were explored to develop innovative initiatives that support the digital transformation efforts in the participating countries, with a focus on developing technological capabilities and supporting systems for telecommunications and information technology. These meetings reaffirmed Qatar’s strong commitment to enhancing regional and international partnerships to achieve sustainable development goals through technology and reaffirm Qatar’s position as a regional hub for digital innovation.
